Splint vs. cast vs. brace: What’s the difference? 🩹
👉🏽 A splint is rigid on one side and allows swelling after an injury or surgery.
👉🏽 A cast is hard all around and offers the most support, perfect for stabilizing fractures.
👉🏽 A brace uses Velcro and metal, is easy to remove, and still lets you move a bit — great for later stages of healing.
