Why Patients Choose Dr. DeNoble
Each patient is treated as an individual. Dr. DeNoble takes as much time as needed to develop and explain a treatment plan built around the condition — and the person.
He treats every patient as an individual
Dr. DeNoble takes as much time as needed to help develop and explain a treatment plan that fits the condition and the person — not a template.
He starts with conservative care
Dr. DeNoble prefers the simplest treatments when possible — physical therapy and non-operative management before surgery becomes part of the conversation.
He is double board-certified and fellowship-trained
Subspecialty qualification in surgery of the hand, plus fellowship at the renowned CV Starr Hand Center and additional training with internationally recognized pediatric hand surgeons.
He leads the practice he co-founded

Care philosophy
How Dr. DeNoble approaches upper-extremity care
Simple first. Time always.
Hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder problems are rarely the same from one patient to the next. Dr. DeNoble's approach is to give every patient the time and attention to understand the full picture — and then to start with the simplest, most conservative path that fits.
“Each patient is treated as an individual, and I always take as much time as I need to help develop and explain a treatment plan for your condition.”
Listen
Dr. DeNoble takes the time to walk through your full story — where the pain or limitation is, how it affects your day, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping to get back to.
Diagnose
Through careful evaluation, imaging, and history, an individualized treatment plan is built around your shoulder, elbow, wrist, or hand condition — and around your goals.
Treat
When appropriate, conservative care comes first — physical therapy and non-operative management for conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and rotator cuff tears. When surgery is necessary, Dr. DeNoble offers the latest minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release and arthroscopic wrist, elbow, and shoulder procedures.
Why it matters
Care, advocacy, and education
Dr. DeNoble's work goes beyond the operating room. As founder and president of the New Jersey Doctor-Patient Alliance, he advocates for patient access to care across the state. As host of the Beyond the Bones Podcast, he shares conversations about orthopaedic medicine with a wider audience. And as a regular contributor to the Seton Hall Orthopaedic Residency program, he helps train the next generation of surgeons.
All of it serves the same goal: making sure patients have access to clear answers, careful care, and the right treatment for their condition — from simple cases to the most complex.

Share a few details and our team will help guide the next step — whether that's an evaluation, a second opinion, or pointing you to the right kind of care.
Second Opinions
Told you need hand, wrist, or shoulder surgery? Get clarity first.
If surgery has been recommended for your shoulder, elbow, wrist, or hand, Dr. DeNoble can review your symptoms, imaging, and prior recommendations to help you understand whether surgery is necessary, whether conservative care may still be appropriate, and what the safest next step may be.
A second opinion is not just about confirming surgery. It is about understanding the problem clearly enough to make the right decision.
Next step
Ready to talk through your shoulder,
elbow, wrist, or hand condition?
Start with a careful evaluation. Dr. DeNoble can help you understand what is happening, what options may be appropriate, and whether conservative care, further evaluation, or surgery should be part of the conversation.
